Back when KWOS was just starting out, there were no yo-yo sites with videos and pictures. That's why I created this site. I wanted to teach the basics and I'm so glad that this site does that.

"I want to teach the world how to yo-yo." |
The fling of the string opens up many possibilities. Much like life, it takes patience and determination to succeed in the art of yo-yoing.
My first interest in yo-yo's came about when I was 11 years old. My friend and I had some tickets to a local kids variety TV show called "Switchback." It was hosted by Stu Jefferies. That day they had a professional yo-yo'er named, Harvey Lowe. I was amazed at what he could do with a yo-yo and decided I would get one. The next night I got my parents to buy me a Canada Games Pro Yo-Yo and a tricks book. That was the beginning.
