| Lariat |
| Lariat is another trick used primarily for string tension adjustments. It is very similar to UFO, the only difference is you don't pinch the string. It's other names include "Lasso" and "Sidewinder." |

Throw the yo-yo at a 45 degree angle. |

Move the hand directly over the yo-yo where it is spinning horizontally. |

Pull the hand up and back so the yo-yo comes up. |

In order for the yo-yo come back in the hand cleanly make sure the yo-yo is level with the hand before you tug at it. |
