Loop the Loop |
Anyone can do a couple of loops in succession but to considered a competent looper you should be able to do 50 or 100 or more without even thinking about it. Doing continuous "Loop the Loops" can be very difficult. It's a skill that is aquired with lots of practice. I'll outline the basics of how a loop is done but go to Shawn's Looping Guide to read a more detailed analysis of doing loops.

"Loop the Loop" begins just like a "Forward Pass". Hold the yo-yo and begin the throw. |
Once the yo-yo has reached the end of the string it'll make it's way back towards you. |
Instead of catching it in the hand, flick it back out. |
Throw it back out. |
Again, once it has reached the end of the string, it'll make it's way back towards you. You can catch it or continue to do do more "Loop the Loops". |
