| Monkey on a String |
| Call it "Monkey on a Tree," Monkey Climbing the String" "Monkey on a Coconut Tree" etc. They're the same trick. |

Drape the string over the left index finger. |
 |
Thread the string into the slot of the yo-yo. |
 |
Pull down with the right hand to cause the yo-yo move up the string. |
 |
Once the yo-yo has reached the top, a couple of inches from the left index finger, slip the left index finger out of the loop and the will will begin to return down to your right hand. |
